Returns and Refunds Policy – DBT Apparel

1. Your Legal Rights

Your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If goods you receive are:

  • Faulty

  • Not as described

  • Not fit for purpose

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights apply whether you purchased online or in-store and cannot be excluded.

2. Right to Cancel (Online Orders Only)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

2.1 How to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us by email at:

2.2 Conditions for Returns

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed

  • In original condition

  • With original packaging where possible

We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished due to excessive handling.

2.3 Refunds

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Refunds will include the cost of standard delivery (where applicable) and will be made using the original payment method

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

3.1 Within 30 Days

You have the right to reject goods and receive a full refund if they are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

3.2 After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months)

You are entitled to a repair or replacement. If this is not possible or fails, you may be entitled to a refund.

3.3 After 6 Months

You may still have rights, but you may need to prove that the fault was present at the time of delivery.

3.4 How to Report

Please contact us at support@dbtapparel.com with details and, where possible, photos of the issue.

We will cover return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.

4. Returns for Change of Mind (Extended Policy)

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 30-day returns policy for change of mind.

Items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • In original packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Proof of Purchase

To process a return, you must provide proof of purchase, such as:

  • Receipt

  • Order confirmation email

  • Bank or payment statement

6. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect → we will cover return costs

  • If returning for change of mind → you are responsible for return shipping

We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Personalised or custom-made items

  • Sealed items that are not suitable for return once opened due to hygiene reasons (if applicable)

8. Sale Items

Sale or clearance items can be returned in line with this policy unless stated otherwise.

Your statutory rights (for faulty or misdescribed goods) always apply.
